Last Tuesday - 28 May 2019 - we hosted our 'LGBTIQ Families in Family Law' event!
Thank you to our fabulous speakers Felicity Marlowe from Rainbow Families Victoria, Karen Field from drummond street services and Rebecca Dahl from Nicholes Family Lawyers - it was a great afternoon!

The event ran from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm and included the framing of LGBTIQ families in the Australian community and the discussion of the experiences of LGBTIQ people when navigating the family law sector and post-separation space. It also examined the legal issues experienced by LGBTIQ people when accessing legal assistance both in family law and when separating. The event concluded with an audience Q&A.
